  1. Know your role and if played efficiently and effectively within the constraints you can still save the world and be home for dinner
But it requires a lot of planning and adhering to your plans
Have contingency arrangements handy to face unexpected situations

  2. Prevention is better than cure
Preparing various contingency plans and reducing them into writing and conducting periodical training drills for the concerned staff will keep the organisation ready to face any eventuality
Displays and posters of important do's don'ts at appropriate places will keep the staff members aware and alert
Periodical contests on these instructions and rewards to those who master the contingency plans and execute them correctly in mock drills may encourage more people to know and exhibit their talents in mastering these skills
After all safety is everybody's concern and everybody should be aware of atleast most of the things for stability and survival of individuals and the organisations

  3. Unless you know how much resources you require for a project you cannot evaluate
    1) whether the project is feasible
    2) whether sufficient resources can be mobilised by you for completion of the project
    3) arrange for the resources and time their availability (cost conscious)
    4) monitor the spending and manage funds in executing the project
    5) review and reorganise yourself to complete the project in time within the estimated budget

A Good Estimate ensures successful completion of a Project
    Well begun is half done
