Village Vs City - India

Cities Vs Villages - The Migration - Is it for the Good ?

In India the village youngsters are lured towards the riches and enjoyments of the cities
Except the villages positioned near cities all distant villages are slowly becoming vacant and deserted
A Village
Normally a village is a safe place with every new trespasser or visitor identified and questioned
But one has no privacy in a village
A City
Once people migrate to a city from a village the hospitality, compassion etc ., which they had earlier have to be forgotten due to situations prevailing in the cities where nobody can be identified or judged as to their intentions except in closely knit planned societies
The soul is lost in a city due to various compulsions
Think it over

  1. True. But The reason for vacating the village is mainly due to income disparity in India. No job creation in Agriculture and even now, no where our farmers are encoraged by the GoI. The price of our foodgrains in the market is increasing exponentially and all the money is going to middle men and traders and not reaching farmers. So, nowadays, every farmer in india is thinking to get their offspring a good education and a secured job in the cities as they dont want their children to struggle any more in that profession.

  2. The Society as well the Government ought to do something to improve the comforts in villages so that the population can continue in the villages and enjoy the benefits of modernisation, advancement of technological growth etc.,
Creation of self contained small townships fragmenting the present cities may be one solution
May good sense prevail in the minds of our rulers, planners etc

Moreover I have to add my following
Break up of Thoughts for further deliberation

The Positive sides of Cities and Villages
The Negative sides of Cities and Villages
    Remedies & Solutions
Strategically planned Self Contained Small Satellite Towns to replace the existing bloated criminal ridden soulless Cities
Reviving and improving villages nearer to Cities to become independent small towns
Allowing far off villages without any infrastructure support to have a natural death
    Make Life worth Living
    With Best Wishes
